Investments & Insurance Processing Administrator- Part Time

Desjardins Independent network & Investments Inc office in Hamilton, Ontario is offering a part time Investments & Insurance Processing position available immediately in a challenging, fast paced professional environment.  This position offers a competitive salary based on experience with part time hours.

 The ideal candidate is a proactive, self-starter with a high degree of maturity and ability to work with minimal supervision. Having a positive attitude and being able to work in a team environment is a must have.

• Excellent problem-solving & decision-making skills;
• Ability to exercise sound judgment in responding to advisor inquiries;
• Strong organizational and administrative skills, including ability to prioritize and multi-task;
• Excellent written communication skills and telephone skills;
• Experience in life insurance & investment processing is mandatory
• Proficient knowledge of computer applications, including MS Word, Excel and outlook.
• Knowledge of Dataphile, Univeris & Wealthserve is an asset.

Key responsibilities :

• Daily processing of investment transcations for our advisors. This includes new client account openings, purchases, redemptions & transfers etc using Dataphile, Univeris and Wealthserve
• Request information and docuemtation from advisors when required
• Ensure all incoming documents are in good order (ie. Cheques, faxes, emails, client paper work)
• Respond to telephone, e-mail, fax, and in-person inquiries from advisors and other parties
• Participate in speical projects/assignments
• Maintain general upkeep of the office and perform other duties as required.
• Ensure that the proper completion of all paperwork, essential updates and corrections are done the strict time frame specified.
• Observe and report any secuirty issues to the management team
